From Carnoustie, Gleneagles or St Andrews look for the A90 north to Aberdeen; and from Aberdeen Airport, Nairn or Royal Dornoch follow the A96 east to Aberdeen.
Once in Aberdeen on either of these roads, follow the A90 signposts for the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and Fraserburgh. Murcar Links Golf Club is just off the A90 Aberdeen to Fraserburgh road at its roundabout junction with the B999 road to Tarves (at B&Q); one roundabout junction North of the AECC. Follow the signs to the course, ie towards the North Sea and down the single-track road. From Cruden Bay follow the A90 south to Aberdeen. The above roundabout is the first one you will encounter once you enter the City boundary.
